Fun things to do / see / eat in Detroit?

Ladies - where do you go to get your hair cut in NYC? I’ve gotten so desperate I almost drove to the berkshires to get mine cut by the woman I used to go to (over 4 years ago) in Boston. Help a girl out!

Looking for a new pair of solid gold studs! Ive worn the same pair for 6+ years, but last weekend I fully lost one of them inside my own apartment. Looking for something basic that I can wear every day - solid gold because I’m too lazy to take them off when I shower / swim. You know as soon as I buy a new pair, the missing one will turn up!

What’s an affordable place to stay in Paris? Planning a trip in October and looking for a hotel / b&b that’s cute but will leave enough room in the budget for copious amounts of pastries and vintage shopping (recs for those also accepted)!

Where should we go on a summer weekend girls trip? “We” = three over-worked gal pals desperate for a trip where we can catch up, do low key fun activities, and eat delicious things that meet the dietary restrictions of one particularly sensitive stomach (no gluten, no tree nuts, no stone fruit, oh my!). We're based in NYC and can only afford to take a weekend (or long weekend) off. We love vintage shopping, bakery / taco crawling, and dancing. Full disclosure I did submit this exact blurb to NYT Magazine for a vacation rec column they’running and they did not choose it. I’m not bitter!
